the administration and training of NCC cadet's across Kerala and Lakshadweep



The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is not a Para-Military organization. It is a youth development movement. It has enormous potential for nation building. The NCC provides opportunities to the youth of the country for their all-round development with a sense of Duty and Discipline, Commitment, Dedication, and Moral Values so that they become able leaders and useful citizens.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Directorate Kerala and Lakshadweep has embarked on a remarkable journey defined by unwavering commitment to discipline and selfless service. Since its inception with the 1st Travancore Battalion in 1949, and its establishment as an independent directorate in 1962, the NCC has consistently focused on instilling core values in young people, transforming individuals and impacting society as a whole.
